Who We Are
Yay, it's almost summer!!
CCT is once again offering free summer programming for students in
Gr. 5 or 6
who are transitioning to a new school in Sept., as well as some older students in Gr. 7-9 who are being invited to participate as youth mentors. Our program is a great way for students get to meet other youth, ease some of their nervousness about starting a new school year, and have fun. We will also focus on different ways that students can promote mental wellness.
Our summer program for students will run the following dates with the following themes:
Our activities usually run from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. but times may vary, depending on the activity (dates, times and activities will be clearly outlined in the Summer Program Package). We will be having many fun events such as swimming, lawn bowling, Stampede parade, The Amazing Race, and visiting cool places within our community.
This year, we are also offering fun activities for the whole family! In August, we plan to have activities from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. (again, times may vary) on these dates:
The completed calendar and information package will be ready to send out within the next few weeks. If you sign up your students, a Summer Program Package will be email'd to you when it is finalized. Students can attend as many or as few days as they choose but we simply ask that if your child has signed up for a particular day and cannot attend, that you let us know as soon as possible so we know how many students to plan for.
